Introduction
Proof of no tax or social security debts is required in various situations: when applying for a residence card, getting a loan, participating in a tender, or arranging installment payments. In Poland, these are two separate documents — one issued by the Tax Office (Krajowa Administracja Skarbowa) and the other by the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS).

At the Tax Office, the certificate is called Zaświadczenie o niezaleganiu lub stwierdzające stan zaległości w podatkach (ZAS-W). It confirms the status of your tax obligations at the time of issuance: either no debts or specifying the amount owed and the period.

- NIP/REGON (for entrepreneurs)
- Recipient information
Step 3. Online submission
For the Tax Office — via e-Urząd Skarbowy. For ZUS — via PUE ZUS.
Step 4. Receiving the certificate
Check the electronic certificate: signatures, issue date, and purpose.
